- Gum recontouring – if excessive gum tissue is impacting the appearance of your smile, we can minimize and contour your gums to their most ideal proportions.
- Crown lengthening – if gum tissue is making your teeth look short or uneven, we can use laser dentistry to expose more of your tooth. This procedure is also useful when excessive gum tissue is interfering with certain dental restorations.
- Frenectomy – oral frenulum is the fold of tissue or muscle that connects things such as lips, tongue, and cheeks to the jawbone. When frenulum is restricted or tight, it can impact speech and eating abilities, particularly in younger children. Our dentists can use a soft tissue laser to gently loosen or separate frenulum.
- Gum disease treatment – lasers can remove bacteria and infection from pockets in the gums. Also known as pocket sterilization, this is an ideal way to encourage healthy tissue growth and remove infection from the gums.
