The Medford High School Hope Chest Food Pantry, otherwise known as “Priscilla’s Pantry,” was recently opened to all Medford High and Medford Vocational Technical High students. The pantry, named after Priscilla Hoff and made possible by donations from the Hoff Family Foundation, provides shelf-stable foods and household goods to students in need.Illustration of a variety of shelf stable foods for Priscilla's Pantry in Medford

In addition, Priscilla’s Pantry provides free lunches on days that students would otherwise not get one. With the help of teachers and school nutritionists, the students can also learn how to make their own food with the items provided in the pantry.

Priscilla Hoff was Dr. Clancy’s maternal grandmother, and while he was not a part of this effort, he is extremely proud of his family members who are giving back to the community in this way. Dr. Clancy has deep ties to Medford, and is happy to see disadvantaged youth being able to achieve greater food stability and life skills such as cooking.

Dr. Clancy is also a sponsor for "Think of Michael," a non-profit organization that helps fund stays in a sober house for recovering addicts. Opioid addiction is a serious problem, and Dr. Clancy is glad to do his part in helping people recover.

Dr. Clancy also gives back to the community through his exceptional dental work, allowing Medford residents to achieve beautiful and healthy smiles. If you are interested in booking a complimentary consultation, please call us today at 781-350-4385.
